Welcome
We are a Southern Gospel ministry based in Greeneville, Tennessee, called to glorify Jesus Christ through heartfelt song, rich vocal harmonies, and personal testimony. Our desire is simple: to lift up the name of Jesus and encourage hearts wherever the Lord opens a door.
The Foundations was born out of a lifelong prayer and calling placed on the heart of co-founder Ronnie Thompson. For many years, Ronnie felt led to minister in music alongside his family. In obedience to that calling, Ronnie and his son Stephen Thompson formed the group in 1992, stepping out in faith to share the Gospel through Southern Gospel music.
Our ministry exists to see lives changed—to see souls saved, believers encouraged, and families drawn closer to God. Every song we sing and every testimony we share points to the firm foundation we stand on: Jesus Christ.
We count it a blessing to minister in churches, revivals, special events, and community gatherings, trusting God to use our music to accomplish His will. Above all, we pray that those who hear us will leave uplifted, encouraged, and reminded that hope is found in Christ alone.
